Born and raised in Nanaimo, Carmen has lived and worked in Vancouver, Victoria and Qualicum and has finally chosen the lovely town of Chemainus to call home. Having spent almost all of her life on Vancouver Island, she has a deep love for the area and has spent a great deal of time traveling up and down its coasts, especially for those Father/Daughter fishing trips! In her spare time (WHAT spare time!?) Carmen also helps operate a plumbing company in Chemainus. Coming from a family of renovators and decorators, Carmen has extensive experience in home projects and seeing the potential in any property.
With a certificate in Business Skills, a Business degree underway and university education in Marketing, Information Sciences and Hospitality Management, Carmen has always loved being a student. The ever-changing Real Estate industry allows her to continue learning and achieving in order to benefit her team and its clientele. Her favorite hobby is Publishing and she assists in the team with marketing/advertising, web management and occasionally acts as the team's in-house "techie". Her diverse background of skills, education and experience has helped her to relate to, and assist, her clients. She has taught pre-school, managed restaurants, been a travel agent, a property manager and until 2004 was an O. R. aide at the Royal Jubilee hospital in Victoria.
It is very important to Carmen to listen to your needs, understand your wants and help find the best home for you and your family. It is with great excitement that she approaches this challenge and looks forward to assisting you in the future!
